ECPA’s annual C-Suite Symposium presents the only opportunity within Christian publishing where C-level executives -- from large to small houses -- can engage at a meaningful level with expert information and trends relevant to their unique roles in leading the industry.

2016 SPEAKER BIOS
RUSSELL MOORE serves as the eighth president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, the moral and public policy agency of the nation’s largest Protestant denomination. A widely-sought cultural commentator, Dr. Moore has been recognized by a number of influential organizations. The Wall Street Journal has called him “vigorous, cheerful, and fiercely articulate” while The Gospel Coalition has referred to him “one of the most astute ethicists in contemporary evangelicalism.” An ethicist and theologian by background, Dr. Moore is also an ordained Southern Baptist minister and the author of several books including Onward: Engaging the Culture Without Losing the Gospel. MAKOTO FUJIMURA, recently appointed Director of Fuller's Brehm Center, is an artist, writer, and speaker who is recognized worldwide as a cultural shaper. A Presidential appointee to the National Council on the Arts from 2003-2009, Fujimura served as an international advocate for the arts, speaking with decision makers and advising governmental policies on the arts. In 2014, the American Academy of Religion, named Makoto Fujimura as its ’2014 Religion and the Arts’ award recipient. This award is presented annually to an artist, performer, critic, curator, or scholar who has made a significant contribution to the understanding of the relations among the arts and the religions, both for the academy and for a broader public. more
KATELYN BEATY is a writer, editor, and speaker. She was the youngest and first female managing editor of Christianity Today. In 2009 she cofounded the women's website Her.meneutics and for three years served as editorial director of This Is Our City, a documentary film and article series about Christians pursuing the common good in six U.S. cities. She is the author of A Woman's Place: A Christian Vision for Your Calling in the Office, the Home, and the World, which was published this summer by Howard / Simon & Schuster. A native of Dayton, Ohio, Katelyn graduated from Calvin College in 2006 (BA, Rhetoric) and studied theology for a semester at Oxford University. She has written for The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Books & Culture. She serves on the national board of HOPE International, a Christian economic development nonprofit. KRISTEN MCLEAN is the Director of New Business Development at Nielsen Book, a part of Nielsen Entertainment, where she is responsible for developing new lines of revenue from existing products, as well as the creation of new initiatives that expand Nielsen's value to its publishing clients. She is a twenty-year veteran of the publishing industry, where her career has spanned many roles including frontline retailing, merchandising, buying, field sales, marketing, and business development which gives her an unusually deep perspective as a market analyst. In 2015 she launched the Nielsen Christian Summit, and she continues to oversee both the Children's and Christian verticals for Nielsen Book.
ROB EAGAR is the founder of Wildfire Marketing, a consulting practice that helps authors, publishers, and organizations spread their message like wildfire. He is one of the rare consultants to help clients create three different types of New York Times bestselling books, including new fiction, new non-fiction, and backlist non-fiction.
