ECPA Christian Book Awards:  Submission Information

Submission Period : August 31 to September 30, 2012
Books entered must have publication date from October 2011 to October 2012.
Online entry forms are live during entry period of August 31 to September 30, 2012.


**PLEASE NOTE**

The submission process requires two separate steps, title submission and payment.  Once you have read through the information below, you can follow the links to submit your titles (one form for each category).  Once all of your titles have been submitted, ECPA will confirm that you have finalized your submission and direct you for payment accordingly.

2013 Category Descriptions

Submissions are accepted in seven categories.  Click on the following links to view descriptions and judging criteria for each category:

 

Entry Form Guidelines

  • Review the Christian Book Awards Official Rules.
  • Submit your entries online using our secure form by September 30, 2012
  • Titles released from October 2011 to October 2012 are eligible for entry as long as the copyright year matches the year of release.  Also, a copy of any October 2012 release must be delivered to the ECPA offices by September 30, 2012.
  • The Entry Form requires title, author, ISBN, and publication date (month and year).
  • Make sure each title complies with the certification called for in Section 1.5 in the Official Rules.
  • Please do not abbreviate. The exact format in which the title and author is submitted will be the format used in all publicity regarding Christian Book Award finalists and winners.
  • Finalist publishers will be asked to digitally submit their company logo and finalist book cover for promotions and recognition.


Entry Fees and Payment Process
All ECPA member houses in good standing are eligible to submit titles and will pay according to their annual sales volume the following fee per entered title:

Annual sales volume:
  < $5 million:  $175 per title
  > or = $5 million:  $299 per title


Payment will be required after you have completed your submissions.  You will be contacted by ECPA with further instructions regarding payment.

Shipping Books
Immediately following submission of your titles, please ship ONE COPY of each to the ECPA offices at:

**NOTE** Our program distributor has agreed to drop ship copies of each entry to program judges.  You will not need to send copies to our distributor, as they keep them in stock.  You will be invoiced separately by the distributor for these review copies.
