Member Bylaws
Article II - Membership, taken from the ECPA Bylaws

Section 1. Qualifications for Voting Members

Voting membership in this Association is open only to publishers of evangelical Christian literature located in the USA and with net sales from such literature in excess of $1,000,000 (average for the previous two fiscal years).

For the purposes of these Bylaws the terms "evangelical Christian literature” or "Christian literature” mean any book, Bible, curriculum, magazine, periodical, electronic literature or other literature which promotes, encourages, confirms, defends or establishes the individual in his/her Christian belief or evangelical Christianity in general, and is not in conflict with the Association’s Statement of Faith.

For the purpose of these Bylaws the terms "publisher” or "Christian publisher” mean any proprietorship, partnership, trust, firm, corporation, other business entity, or corporate division of subsidiary engaged primarily in the business of publishing evangelical Christian literature which involves a financial investment, operates from a regularly established location, has the customary overhead responsibilities of a publisher, including rental or ownership of a place of business, salaries and other publishing costs, and which maintains an ongoing program of publishing evangelical Christian literature. Two or more distinct publishing entities each qualify as voting members even if they are related through common ownership or a parent/subsidiary relationship. Entities that maintain an ongoing program of publishing materials deemed to be in conflict with the Association’s Statement of Faith are not eligible for membership. Entities that are deemed by the Board of Directors to be unwilling to accept and abie by the General Principals and Practices for ECPA Members are also not eligible for membership.
(For the purposes of these Bylaws, "net sales" means gross sales less returns credited or reserved for.)

Section 2. Qualifications for Nonvoting Members:

Classes of nonvoting membership shall include:

b) International Associate Members—entities engaged in the publication of evangelical Christian literature outside the USA.
