NetGalley
is a service to promote and publicize forthcoming titles to readers of
influence by distributing secure, digital galleys to approved members.
Publishers are using digital galleys to reach a broader universe of
influencers faster and more efficiently, and are creatively
incorporating NetGalley into all aspects of their marketing and
publicity campaigns.
As of March 2013, over 200 publishers and
over 100,000 reviewers, media, booksellers, librarians, bloggers and
other contacts are using the site. There
is no charge for professional readers to use the service; publishers
pay a set-up fee plus a monthly cost depending on the number of titles
you have on the site.
We’ve been extraordinarily grateful to
work with a number of ECPA members who are using NetGalley to share
secure digital galleys with our community of professional readers. This
includes Abingdon, AMG, Baker, Barbour, B&H, Crossway, David C Cook,
Discovery House, Faithwords, Harvest House, Moody, New Hope Publishers,
P&R Publishing Company, Thomas Nelson Publishers, Tyndale House
Publishers, WaterBrook/Multnomah Publishing Group, Worthy Publishing,
and Zondervan.
NetGalley
offers publishers a number of ways to introduce your title to our
ever-growing member community, including genre round-ups, dedicated
email promotions, inclusion on our home page, and outreach to specific
member types (like librarians). Learn more: http://netgalley.tumblr.com/mktg.
