Recognizing outstanding sales achievement in the publication of quality
Christian literature
Established in 1990, the Gold | Platinum | Diamond* Book Awards recognize
outstanding sales achievement in the publication of quality Christian
literature. Eligibility for these awards is attained whenever a book achieves
the designated sales level in all of its formats when the content is identical
(see criteria).
These sales levels are as follows:
- Gold Book Award: presented when a book property sells
500,000 copies
- Platinum Book Award: presented when a book property sells 1
million copies.
- Diamond Book Award: presented when a book property sells 10
million copies.
- Double Diamond Book Award: presented when a book property
sells 20 million copies.

* The Diamond Book Award was established and first awarded
in 2005.
APPLYING FOR YOUR AWARD:
The book publisher must apply to ECPA for the appropriate
book award.
Application may be submitted at anytime during the year.
Recipients recognized in ECPA publications, consumer website, and media
releases.
