Matt is the author of an important new book on innovation, The Elegant Solution: Toyota’s Formula for Mastering Innovation, based on the seven years he spent teaching Toyota innovation methods for the University of Toyota.

He applies the principles and tools of the Toyota way of innovation to businesses of all kinds to consistently achieve breakthroughs and continually improve performance.

The magic of Matt’s message lies in its universality and transport- ability across industries and functions, from old-line industries like the one Toyota dominates, to service and knowledge-based industries, as well. His clients include the Los Angeles Police Department, Wells Fargo, Nextel, and the Department of Defense, among many others.

Matt May is the founder of Aevitas Learning, which was a preferred business partner with Toyota from 1999 to 2006 and the only non- Toyota entity certified to teach Toyota methods by the University of Toyota.
