ECPA Awards Banquet featuring the 2010

Christian Book Awards

The Christian Book Awards will be presented on Monday evening, along with the Christian Book of the Year, the Jordon Lifetime Achievement Award, and other industry recognitions. Featured speaker Dr. Leonard Sweet will present on "Gutenberg Church in a Google World."

The Christian Book Award awards the highest honors in the industry to books in six categories and a "Christian Book of the Year" to the finalist that has the greatest impact  on consumers. Since the inception of the Christian Book Award program in 2006 from its Gold Medallion foundation in 1978, the award designation remains a prominent media and promotional feature for titles. Finalists have been announced from the 226 entries received this year in the following categories: Bibles, Fiction, Children & Youth, Inspiration & Gift, Bible Reference & Study, and Christian Life.

The prestigious Jordon Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual each year for their exceptional contributions to the Christian publishing industry. This award is named in honor of Charles “Kip” Jordon (1945-1997), beloved Christian publishing veteran of more than 25 years, and former publisher of Word Publishing.
