Tom Burke, a partner in the San Francisco office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, concentrates his practice in the areas of media and Internet law. He has over 16 years of experience in all aspects of publishing law including defamation, privacy, right of publicity, copyright and Internet publishing issues. Tom is also a Lecturer on media law at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. He is listed as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" in First Amendment Law by Woodward/White, 2005-2007 and recognized for his work on media and entertainment matters in Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers (2002-2007). Tom is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.S., magna cum laude) and the University of San Francisco (J.D., magna cum laude).
