Shari Noland
President, WebEdits & More
Shari Noland is currently the President of WebEdits & More. She began her career in 1991 at the Chicago Tribune in advertising and circulation sales after graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in journalism and advertising. She went on to earn a master's degree in reporting and writing from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1996. Upon graduation, she worked as an editorial design editor for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and The Charlotte Observer. Noland's Web experience began as a content developer for an ABC-TV affiliate (GoCarolinas.com) in Charlotte, NC. After a short stint as an interactive project manager for a branding and communications agency based in New York City, she moved on to high-profile national consumer magazines, such as Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire, and Child. In addition, her background includes launching new Web sites, producing interactive guides, repackaging magazine content for the Web, writing and editing online articles and newsletters, and managing the development of online communities.
