What do Rights Managers need to know about the current publishing landscape in Brazil and China? Cindy Riggins will facilitate a panel discussion including Mark Carpenter, CEO of Mundo Cristao publishers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Thomas Tang, Christian Communications Ltd. in Hong Kong and Mainland China. This session will focus on social, economic and religious factors as well as how the Christian publishing landscape varies for each country and language market. The session will be interactive, with the opportunity for discussion regarding each market.

Cindy Riggins, has 15 years experience in international rights. She is the President of Riggins International Rights Services, Inc. which provides global publishing rights sales, management and consulting services. Cindy is a board member for the ECPA Global Publishers Alliance. She was also a founding steering committee member for the ECPA International Rights Managers Association and served on the committee for several years. Cindy was previously the International Rights Director at Thomas Nelson for 10 years.
Prior to being called to serve in the Christian publishing industry, she held positions in sales, marketing, and human resources. She received special achievement awards from AT&T and Kelly Services during her tenure with their organizations. Cindy and her husband reside outside Nashville, TN, near her two step-children and four grandchildren.
