In January 2005, Tami L. Heim was named executive vice president and chief publishing officer at Thomas Nelson. She directly supervises all strategic publishing units under the Thomas Nelson name.
Tami brings three decades of retail experience to her publishing role, including top management roles within department stores and specialty retail segments. She served in executive leadership at Borders, Inc., and Federated Department Stores before joining Thomas Nelson.
Throughout her career, Tami has reached out to mentor women. Her approachable style and warm personality make Tami one of her company’s “go-to” leaders for women seeking opportunities to learn more, to do more, and to achieve more.
Tami lives in Nashville, TN, with her husband, Dale. Their daughter, Zoë, is currently attending Carson Newman University.
