Finalists 2007
The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association and Dickinson Press are pleased to announce the ECPA/Dickinson Press Book Cover Award finalists for 2007. This new annual award recognizes outstanding book cover design in Christian publishing.
A team of design and marketing experts evaluated the entries based on how the design itself matches the characteristics of the book’s target audience. Judging criteria was based on the results of a new landmark study commissioned by Dickinson Press and conducted by the Research Institute on Social Change (RISC) which measured consumer book design preferences. Design components such as composition, images, font treatment, color palette, and title were considered.
Finalists were named in four categories. Winners will be announced at the opening session of the Publishers University program in Chicago on Sunday, November 4, 2007.
