The Christian Book Awards

The Christian Book Awards honors the year’s finest in Christian publishing. Presented annually since 1978 (formerly as the Gold Medallion Awards), the Christian Book Awards recognize excellence in six categories:

Bibles
Bible Reference & Study
Children & Youth
Inspiration & Gift
Christian Life
Fiction

Publisher-submitted titles undergo a stringent judging process by industry experts, authors, and Christian retailers specially selected for each category. These judging panels evaluate each title using specific criteria related to the category, such as content, literary quality, design, and impact.

The Christian Book Awards recognize the highest quality in Christian books and the program is among the oldest and most prestigious award programs in the Christian publishing industry.

Award winners are considered the “BEST OF” in Christian literature.
