The ECPA | dp Book Cover Award program is designed as a valuable tool in bringing awareness and education to marketing and design teams of what makes a more "sellable” book cover. Based on the groundbreaking (and newly updated) book study commissioned by Dickinson Press and completed by the Research Institute on Social Change (RISC), this program recognizes and honors the industry’s most effective book covers; those that best connect design components to their intended consumer.

This free webinar entitled Matching Consumer Motivations to Book Cover Design will be held on Wednesday, October 26 at 11 am (CST) to explain the latest RISC research and present the related judging criteria for the program, led by Rick Hamm, manager of the Research Institute for SocialChange data and director of Marshall Marketing.

For your reference, the entry period for the corresponding 2011 ECPA| dp Book Cover Award program is scheduled for October 24-November 4 for books published from June 2010 through September 2011. Bibles are eligible for entry in their own category to facilitate the special nature of these works. Complete information is here.
