Experienced marketing professionals who enjoy reading should consider starting a new chapter in their career story by joining the marketing team in our publishing house. Tyndale House Publishers is looking for a dedicated, social media savvy marketing manager to champion our books to trade markets and consumers by developing and implementing marketing plans for products produced within one of Tyndale House’s publishing groups which specializes in Christian books for fiction markets.
•   Position Tyndale’s books in the market and stimulate awareness and demand on both the consumer and trade levels. 
•   Present marketing plans to authors and agents, manage expectations and guide collaborative efforts via author platform. 
•   Develop creative direction and copy/content for marketing vehicles such as online advertising and promotions, social media, videos, websites and press releases/media hooks.   
•   Work with internal departments and outside suppliers to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight budgets and timelines.
•   Provide sales teams with tools to effectively present our titles to the trade.
•   Provide input on new product viability and development from concept through launch, collaborating with multiple departments and personnel on a daily basis.  
•   Manage budgets.


•   Three to five years of experience in Marketing.  Publishing industry experience a plus.
•   College degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. 
•   High level of professionalism, organizational skills and presentation skills.
•   Practical experience using email, social media and public relations as marketing tools.
•   Ability to be nimble and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
•   Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
•   Highly collaborative team-player with excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
•   Creative and astute problem-solving abilities and can-do attitude.  
•   Creative writing skills a plus.
•   Sales or client service experience a plus.
•   Ability and willingness to travel 15-20%, as needed.
