NPD BookScan (formerly Nielsen Bookscan) provides essential information needed to keep ahead in an increasingly competitive retail book market. BookScan’s US Retail Sales Panel covers approximately 85% of print trade book sales, with over 500,000 different ISBNs tracked in a typical week.  This transactional data is collected via the point-of-sale systems of major book retailers, mass merchandisers and independent book stores.
